"I don't know."

"What do you mean, you don't know? Abed, you were here the whole time! There's no way you could have not noticed an entire ten gallon fish tank just disappear!" Annie yelled, exasperated. They needed that fish tank for their class, Sociology 202: Family Living: Creating Social Harmony in the Modern Day. With the fish tank the group's entire "Microcosm of Family: Exploring Relationships Through Alternative Methods" project might as well be completely useless. Of course they still had the rhinestone covered hats and the basil plant she'd grown in an Abraham Lincoln shaped balloon, but the fish tank was important!

"I don't remember any fish tank. What is a fish tank? What is tank? What is a fish? Am I fish? I think I'm a fish!" Abed, exclaimed, his voice usually high pitched.

"No, Abed, you're not a fish. You're person. --Or, maybe you are a fish? Why do you think your a fish?" Annie was not in the mood to play along with one of Abed's real life live action movie fantasies with the project due in just an hour, but she knew that it might be the fastest (and possibly only) way to find the fish tank.

"Hmm... I think I've been swimming? Do fish swim? Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." Annie was pleased when he burst into a a sing-songy voice, as she was not able to identify which movie they were reenacting.

"Ohhh! Finding Nemo! Dory! Are you Dory? Do you know where the fish tank is Dory?" Annie asked, anxiously.

"Dory! I think that's my name! Dory! I'm Dory!" Abed clapped his hands together excitedly and continued to flap them around as if they were fins as he began to run around the apartment. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."

"Okay. Abed--Dory," Annie stood in front of him, blocking his path and put her hands on his shoulders. "Have you seen the fish tank, Dory. It's very important." Abed, looked pensive,

"Hmm, I don't know what you are talking about. But you seem sad! Don't be sad! Why are you sad?" Annie was frustrated.

"Well, Ah--Dory, I'm sad because I can't find my fish tank. I need if for a proj--no!" She realized what she needed to do. She explained with emphasis, "I needed because my son is in the fish tank. You see, I'm a fish too. My name is Marlin and my son, Nemo is missing. I'm very sad about it. He only has one fin. I must find him immediately. Do you know where the fish tank is?"

"Oh, no! That's terrible. Poor Nemo! I will help you find him!" Finally, it seemed like she was making progress with him.

"Great! Do you know where the fish tank is?" She asked, increasingly anxious.

"What is a fish tank?" Annnd, back to square one. Was this project really going to completely fall apart at the last minute after everything she had done trying to get the group to actually work on it? That just could not happen!

"I could murder you right now!" Annie screamed, going from anxious to angry.

"That's not very nice." His voice sounded so sweet and innocent, if only he wasn't being completely evil and ruining their project.

"No it's not very nice! You know what else isn't very nice? Completely messing up everything and ruining projects that other people, or one person, has spent months doing 90% of the work, while the rest of you slack off until you felt the need to do this stupid movie reenactments at the last minute and hiding the most important part of the project!" She was ranting and yelling, until all of the sudden he cut her off.

"P. Sherman 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney, Australia." He spoke in a quiet voice.

"What...oh, wait? Yes! P. Sherman 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney, Australia! Exactly! P. Sherman 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney, Australia! Is that where the fish tank is? Can you take me to P. Sherman 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney, Australia?" Annie, exclaimed, finally feeling a sense of relief and maybe a bit of guilt about how she had yelled at Abed.

"I think so!" And with that he was off running out he door, his hands flapping as if they were fins. Annie followed, also running, also flapping her arms as if they were fins. He ran all the way to Greendale, into the the library and into the study room.

"Right, of course, the study room. That makes sense. This is the address of P. Sherman 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney, Australia? Is the fish tank here somewhere?" She looked around the study room, but she didn't see the fish tank anywhere. Her heart sank.

"Fish tank? What's a fish tank?"

"Abed! I thought you were taking me to fish tank! The projects due in 15 minutes, we're going to fail unless you take me to the fish tank right now!"

"Who's Abed? I'm Dory, I think." He looked confused. She began to cry. Annie took out her phone to text the rest of the study group that the fish tank was gone and that they were going to fail the project. When she looked at her phone, she realized that she already quite a few text messages from other members of the group. The most recent ones were from various members of the group asking where she and Abed were since the presentation was about to start shortly. She scrolled back through the messages and from Jeff and that's when she saw it,

"Shirley and I hauled the fish tank from your apartment to the classroom. See you there. Thanks for doing all the work on this project."

She sighed, at least they weren't going to fail the project. It could have been worse. She turned to Abed and said,

"Come on Dory, our friends are waiting across the sea."

"Oh, friends!" He squealed, and they both ran, arms flapping to the classroom.
